Description/Responsibilities

The National Growth Team Director leads a team of Managers, who lead and support a team of Regional Growth Managers, who will collectively work with our Client Relations account team, our local and regional health plan client representatives, and our eligible SilverSneakers members.

 

The National Growth Team Director will ensure there is an aligned strategy with the Client Relations leadership team so that our health plan clients unique needs are met at the local and regional level.  This support is primarily aligned around supporting our clients’ new member acquisition efforts, training of all health plan contacts who interact directly with members to educate them on how to best promote engagement in the SilverSneakers program and ensuring that the strength of the brand continues to grow among seniors nationwide. The Director will contribute to these efforts by leading their team of Managers in alignment with the client strategy developed in partnership with the broader Client Relations team.

 

This role will be focused on hiring, training, coaching, managing, and leading the team with a keen goal of delivering and demonstrating value for our clients.  

 

Additional responsibilities will be focused on increasing the long-term strategic impact of the Regional Growth team, identifying process improvements, and pursuing new opportunities to drive growth and client satisfaction.

 

This role will also serve as a leader within the Client Relations team, clearly communicating internally the voice of the client as well as the work and impact the Regional Growth Managers are having in their regions. This role will fully understand the organizational goals, and the goals of our clients, and drive the strategy of the team to align all efforts in order to deliver the greatest results.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (in sales, marketing, communication, health administration or business) is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with clear track record of empowering and leading a group of field-based colleagues. 3+ years of experience in this area preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in client services. Management of a geographic territory, and 5+ years of experience in this field is preferred.
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans preferred.
  • Prior sales management experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to sort through several inputs and make the best decision while guiding a team through relationship nuances.
  • Driven individual with an appreciation for an autonomous work environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

The salary range for this opportunity is $83,300 to $116,600. Compensation depends on several factors: qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
