Description/Responsibilities

Tivity Health is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member of its Enterprise FP&A team supporting the financial and business planning activities of the enterprise through hands on forecasting, budgeting, analysis, data management and reporting.

 

The position reports to the Sr Director of FP&A and will be a key finance support for our business.

 

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the Executive Officer leaders and other senior leaders within the company to establish and develop budgets and monthly forecasts. This includes the development of underlying assumptions and coordination of planning activities within areas of responsibility.
  • Update and maintain forecasts in the budget and forecasting system (Adaptive Planning) as well as maintain off-line models to support the budget and forecast.
  • Review monthly results and accurately report to Sr. Leadership and Department owners comparing actual results to historical results, budgets and forecasts and prepare and report meaningful variance analysis.
  • Helping to consolidate total company reporting
  • Develop, create and maintain monthly standard reports and ad-hoc customized financial reports utilizing forecasting system (Adaptive Planning) for FP&A team and business owners.
  • Prepare and consolidate commission payments and coordinates reconciliation of commissions with market finance leaders
  • Work with Accounting team during month end close to analyze trends, identify accruals, and prepare journal entries
  • Work with Accounts Payable team to approve invoices and determine correct GL coding
  • Assist with earnings call and board meeting reporting
  • Develop and execute controlled and efficient financial processes and procedures.
  • Other ad hoc tasks related to internal customer (Sr. Leadership/Department owners/Finance Leadership) FP&A requests.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant and progressive corporate finance/FP&A experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics required; graduate degree (MBA) a plus with a concentration in finance, accounting, economics or other related financial/analytical field preferred.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and all aspects of general accrual and cost accounting
  • Ability to interact with business owners and work through financial concepts using strong analytical and communication skills to achieve a high level of customer service.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with particular attention and expertise being paid to the presentation of findings and the development of logical and appropriate recommendations
  • Excellent procedure development, process improvement and implementation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and process information into meaningful financial analysis and concise presentations to management.
  • Ability to positively manage change and multiple priorities in response to shifting demands. Can identify where change is needed and work through ambiguous situations.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter who is assertive and disciplined.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office-Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
  • Functional knowledge and experience using Tableau and Power BI
  • Systems experience with Oracle Accounting and Adaptive Planning is a plus.
  • Experience in health-related industry is a plus, but not required.

 

The salary range for this opportunity is $83,400 to $116,600. Compensation depends on several factors: qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
