Our Senior Accounting and Financial Reporting Analyst plays a pivotal role on the Tivity Health Accounting team. Utilizing hands-on accounting experience with an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and best practices, you will work alongside high-integrity colleagues in a fast-paced environment. In this full-time role you will be responsible for several reporting functions related to general accounting activities including analyzing complex financial reports and records, preparing journal entries accurately, preparing monthly financial results, researching and documenting technical accounting matters, monitoring internal controls, and coordinating more complex accounting initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare detailed monthly financial statements and variance reports to support management in the review of the monthly operating performance and key performance indicators
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external financial reporting packages, including variance analysis and commentary
• Perform research and document conclusions, including writing technical accounting memoranda addressing technical accounting matters
• Collaborate with G/L Accounting team, Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Leaders, Operations Finance, and Management to prepare accurate financial reporting
• Prepare financial reporting for presentation in regular financial review meetings
• Prepare and post accurate monthly journal entries to ensure proper recording of financial transactions
• Manage auditor requests and provide supporting documentation to facilitate the Company’s internal and external audit processes
• Assist with the oversight and management of the Company’s internal control environment and framework, including adherence to and preparation of certain controls
• Assist management and senior leadership with financial information requests and questions
• Ensure all reporting deadlines are consistently achieved
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA is a plus
• 3+ years’ experience in financial accounting and/or auditing
• Proficient knowledge, application, and research of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Proficient knowledge, application, and research of technical accounting matters
• Oracle, Adaptive (Workday), SpreadsheetServer (InsightSoftware) experience is a plus
• Experience using Tableau preferred
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
• Strong business acumen and organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills
• Advanced level Excel skills
