  • Description/Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate has a solid marketing, media and advertising background and work experience managing a variety of consumer projects end-to-end, including paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing techniques. The VP of Brand, Digital & Research will report directly to the Chief Brand Officer and will oversee the internal Marketing, Digital, Brand and Research teams on a day to day basis.

    Essential job responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement cohesive marketing plans and strategies to increase brand awareness.
    2. Create and execute consumer strategic marketing plan, including strategies and tactics to support B2B and B2C efforts.
    3. Lead and develop relationships with key third-party agencies, vendors and consultants needed to support annual consumer marketing plans.
    4. Develop insights from marketing research, data analytics and marketing analytics, and incorporate into marketing strategy and tactics.
    5. Participate in idea exploration with team members to facilitate development of innovation.
    6. Develop campaigns, including direct marketing, mass media, marketing collateral, digital advertising and social media efforts to support the product promotions created by your teams.
    7. Effectively manage the marketing annual budget & execute to drive return on marketing spend.
    8. Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
    9. Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly.
    10. Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.
    11. Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events.
    12. Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department.
    13. Participate in the on-going planning of the company’s objectives and how marketing drives business growth.
    14. Clarify and simplify complex information, spotting trends and possibilities that lead to new business opportunities.
    15. Represent Tivity Health at industry and marketing events.

    Key Tasks:

    • Lead cross-channel marketing campaigns, social media, media, creative and campaign launches.
    • Drive brand guidelines across all facets of marketing and develop new guidelines for future product launches.
    • Responsible for external brand activations, partnerships and integrations including the development of messaging and advertising.
    • Improve project management across internal departments, driving continuous process optimization and making recommendations for efficiencies.
    • Responsible for internal brand building activities; ensure the Tivity brands are prominent in each location and emanates across the company.
    • Lead strategy and development of the Tivity voice across all channels.
    • Manage the key marketing vendors, advertising agencies and suppliers.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or other related discipline required, Masters’ degree or MBA a plus.
    • 10+ years of marketing experience in strategic marketing, brand marketing, and product marketing roles.
    • 5+ years of people management experience
    • Must be an expert on marketing strategy development to maximize brand awareness, market penetration and expansion strategies
    • Demonstrated proficiency acquiring and analyzing complex statistical data to measure, drive decisions, and improve the performance of marketing activities
    • Proven success in defining and delivering industry-specific solutions that achieved broad customer adoption, revenue traction and market success
    • Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data and make clear and compelling business planning recommendations
    • Extensive background in executing effective marketing campaigns including print advertising, collateral, digital marketing, social media, direct marketing, event and cause-related marketing
    • Excellent B2B and B2C web marketing/eCommerce expertise and track record
    • Ability to direct all aspects of a campaign or project (strategy, tactics, creative, copy, delivery, reporting, etc.)
    • Outstanding communication skills and command of the English language (spoken and written)
    • Experience managing creative agencies, research or analytic partners
    • Experience managing market intelligence and/or research
    • Team player that will "roll up the sleeves" to get the work done
    • Healthcare background/experience a huge plus
