  • Description/Responsibilities

    The Program Manager is responsible for leading the development, marketing and implementation of the WHL Choices program as well as managing vendor partnership/relationships. This position will implement the strategic and tactical business plans as well as ensure the program meets growth objectives.

    1. Manages all aspects of relationships with product vendors; including: contracting, marketing, communications, rollout, reporting, data and financial needs.
    2. Apply sound business principles to define new program development projects.
    3. Effectively and efficiently manage the activities of cross functional product development teams in the enhancement and delivery of program offerings.
    4. Directly interact with cross-functional groups (Product, Marketing, Sales, Client Relations, Technology) to meet objectives and keep program on track.
    5. Generate status reports and presentations as required. Present progress to senior and executive leadership.
    6. Prepare and submit project plans and budgets, which identify milestones and resources, and track project timelines and costs. Identify project and timeline risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.      
    7. Secures required resources, and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes.
    8. Communicate regularly with key client contacts to monitor program satisfaction and present program metrics.
    9. Manage unexpected program delays and direct cross-functional team efforts to re-align with established project timelines.
    10. Participate in negotiation of business transactions with program vendors.
    11. Manage and update content for sales presentations. Assist with the development and on-boarding process for new Choices vendor partners.



    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related discipline preferred.
    • 2-5 years of marketing, contract management, project management or product experience, preferably in the healthcare, wellness, or alternative medicine industries.
    • Working knowledge of wellness, alternative medicine industry, a plus
    • Experience leading the development and implementation of projects, with ability to handle multiple projects and effectively manage timelines.
    • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated strong marketing and communications skills.
    • Ability to work independently, as well as effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organization.
    • Strong skills with MS Office applications are required (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Project).
