Our newest product, flip50, is the only healthy lifestyle program that addresses the needs of the 50+ population by combing the three essential elements for sustaining health in mid-life: exercise, nutrition, and rest and recovery.


    You will lead and build cross-functional teams tied to encouraging consumers to increase their participation in this exciting new program and will lead the development of additional, innovative products and services. You will work closely with customers, executive leadership, operations, sales, and other functional teams to deliver high quality, relevant products.


    You must be a true product visionary and have the ability and presence to deliver a persuasive product story. You enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market. As the product director of flip50, you will represent the voice of the customer and influence the programming, content management and user experience strategy to drive this critical program. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy and the resourcefulness to drive significant growth. This person will develop new ideas based on industry experience and connect with customers, prospects, and partners to nurture a vibrant ecosystem and deliver well-positioned and priced products to the market.


    You will manage the entire product life cycle, including market analysis, conceptual design, functional design, development, and launch/go-to-market. You will be responsible for supervising the design of program process flows, writing functional specifications for products, finalizing the products’ value proposition, assisting in the development of training programs and verifying operational readiness for product launch. You will foster close working relationships with Sales, Client Relations/Account Management, Marketing, Pricing, Product Development and Operations teams to effectively leverage expertise and resources to achieve business objectives.

    1. Foster member loyalty and commitment to a life enriching regimen of fitness, nutrition, rest and recovery through digital programming and access to over 10,000 gyms and fitness locations.
    2. Leverage best practices in the latest digital marketing platforms including DSPs, DMPs and Multi-Variate Testing platforms to retain consumers and activate members through omni-channel marketing programs.
    3. Define go-to-market strategies for your product offerings, identifying and communicating who is the target customer, product positioning, pricing, and key benefits and help train sales and client support.
    4. Use or commission market research, usability studies, and focus groups to identify benchmarks and build business cases for solving customer problems.
    5. Leverage data analysis skills to research difficult or ambiguous problems, leading cross-disciplinary teams where necessary and communicating recommendations to senior leadership.
    6. Gather input both internally and externally to define product strategy and solution concepts, develop detailed requirements, feature definitions and high-level implementation plans of new senior products to support the strategic objectives of the business.
    7. Ensure alignment and manage the product life cycle.
    8. Plan and develop procedures for implementing new programs and products and train cross-functional teams. Ensure implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified business objectives.
    9. Drive ongoing iterative pilot programs to test new product and feature concepts both online and in market. Build, Measure, and Learn!
    10. Provide product knowledge and subject matter expertise to customer-facing teams and customers on capabilities and features of solution. Assist with the creation and delivery of product training.
    11. Define the KPIs for the business performance of your product line (revenue, market share, number of customers, etc.) Track and report back business performance, identifying levers for improving KPI’s, and championing necessary initiatives for those improvements.
    12. Review current product offerings to identify enhancements to current features and functionality and ensures product strategic alignment with business objectives.


    • Bachelor's degree required. MBA or additional equivalent experience preferred.
    • 7+ years' experience in direct to consumer digital product management with progressive leadership experience
    • Demonstrated ability and passion for defining excellent digital and in person experiences. This includes conceiving, designing, building, and delivering it. You should be a product geek and a maven of all things product.
    • Experience driving decisions for a technical product, ideally a consumer facing mobile website or app.
    • Experience with new product launch including digital and non-digital
    • Experience working in an agile software development lifecycle.
    • Ability to interface with clients to set expectations and determine deliverables
    • Experience managing and developing high performance product managers.
    • Strong facilitation skills and experience related to strategy development and problem solving
    • Ability to facilitate and lead design discussions with cross functional teams
    • Ability to influence without direct authority
    • Sound analytical, negotiation, judgment and decision making skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills required
